Thoughts

I picked this poem up at the Hospice as I have struggled to cope..with the loss of my Mum, I have only ever known her love, her loyalty and her presence in my life, I tried to prepare myself over the preceding months, but I was still not prepared for her to go..I hope this helps you to.. Please don't feel guilty, It was my time to go, I see you are still feeling sad, and the tears just seem to flow, We all come to earth for our lifetime, And for some its not many years, I don't want you to keep crying, You are shedding so many tears, I haven't really left you, Even though it may seem so, I have just gone to my heavenly home, and I'm closer than you know Just believe that when you say my name, I am standing next to you, I know you long to see me, but there's nothing I can do, But I'll still send you messages, And hope you understand, that when your time comes to 'cross over' I'll be there to take your hand....

When I wobble this truth holds me steady.... Psalm 23 The LORD Is My Shepherd 23 1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures: He leads me beside still waters. 3 He restores my soul: He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. 4 Though I walk through the valley of darkness, I will fear no evil: for You ARE with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I WILL dwell in the house of the Lord FOR EVER.
